Unnamed antartica game

This is the main project i'm working on currently. It is currently unnamed.

As the title implies, this game takes place in Antartica, in an alternate version of earth where Antartica was colonized by a humanoid intelligent species before it split from pangea and got covered in ice.

The game takes place long after any life in Antartica is possible and long after this humanoid species died off. During a heavy construction project that needed digging through the ice sheet, construction workers happened upon the ruins of an ancient civilization. Since the construction project was supposed to be a scientific base, the project continued and finished. Because of the discovery of the ruins, in addition to the normal team of scientist assigned to the base (naturalists, meteorologists etc.), the company in charge of the project decided to add a archeologist and linguist that would be able to investigate the newly discovered ruins.

However, this decision to add these scientist to the regular team was heavily influenced by the public reaction to the discovery of the ruins. Indeed, at first, the company had decided to ignore the ruins and keep working as originally planned. Once the media got hold of this information, a big campaign pushing for the study of the ruins started and finally forced the company to hire an archeologist.

Though the public was pleased, the other scientist were not thrilled: the company had reserved an already small budget for their research and now, they would have to share it with one more person.

From the very beginning of the project, the entire scientific team, supported by the hierarchy at the company was going to do everything in their power to make their new colleague's life unbearable, forcing them to eventually quit.

Only a few weeks after the project started on the station, the archelogist quits, but, to the dismay of everyone on the station, gets replaced by a brand new linguist: the player. As the linguist on the station, your goal is to pick up where your predecessor left off and uncover the secrets of the lost civilization that once reigned over Antartica.

Though your main goal is to decipher the ancient language that holds the key to the secrets of the ancient, you will have to face a wide array of opposition, both from the station staff, your colleagues and the company hierarchy.

MySims-like game

This is mostly just an idea so far, I have only a skeleton for the game and I dont really plan on working on it too much anytime soon.

Basically, the main idea behind the game is to make a game inspired by MySims Kingdom in that the main character is going to have to leave their home to bring their aid to the rest of the world.

The world is made up of achipelagos organized in concentric circles around the island where the player starts their journey. The player is going to have to visit the world and solve problems for some reasons i do not yet know.

The main idea is kind of similar to that of dragon quest where you go island to island and discover new characters and solve their problems. I dont know what the main gameplay mechanic is going to be but I think each new archipelago is going to introduce a new game mechanic, where for example the island in the first achipelago are going to be card games, the second archipelago are going to be platform etc.

I'm still working on the basics out of the engine.

Surrealist/lovecraftian parodic horror game

Basically what is sounds like, i love this game but unfortunatly i had to stop working on it because i was such a terrible programmer because i coded my way into a corner and it made it nearly impossible to work on the game.

I plan to come back to it at some point but ill have to redesign the back end from the ground up so i wont start working on it anytime soon

Language learning JRPG-style game

Again, bascially what it sounds like. A JRPG game that is completly written in your target language where you get to practice/learn about your target language in a fun way.

i havent started working on the game because its a bit hard and also i would only be able to make it for french so maybe ill start working on it if i find people that speak languages other than french and english to help me work on it.
